There are multiple ways in which you can set up a Skype meeting:
Method 1 - Outlook
Open up your Outlook client, and in the top right-hand corner click on the New Items button, then Skype Meeting. If you don't see the Skype Meeting option, please raise a ticket with the MIS team and they will resolve this for you. You can continue to set up a Skype meeting in Method 2.
This will automatically open a meeting request and populate the body of the request with Skype joining instructions. You can give the meeting a title, invite attendees as well as choosing a start and end time for the meeting.
By clicking the Meeting Options button at the top of the screen, you can edit advanced options such as muting all attendees, blocking video or disabling IM.
Method 2 - OWA (Outlook Web App)
Open OWA by browsing to https://outlook.office.com and open your meetings area by clicking on the calendar icon in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. Double click on the day you wish to set up the meeting for and a meeting window will open. Click on Add Online Meeting and choose Skype Meeting from the dropdown list.
As above, you can edit the meeting details and choose your attendees to send the invite out to. Skype for Business joining information will be added after you send the meeting invitation. You won't be able to edit the meeting options as in Method 1 through OWA, but you will be able to do this in Outlook once the invite has been sent out.
