What is the CIM VPN?
The VPN we use is called Forticlient, it is on every new laptop we issue.
Why is it needed?
When connected to the VPN it is like a tunnel directly to Moor Hall, essentially you are working in Moor Hall, and have access to the same software and rights.
For example, if you connect to VPN, you can change and synchronise your password.
Should the IT department need to assist you to make any changes whilst you are working remotely, you may need to connect to Forticlient first. This depending on the issue, you have, you won’t always need to connect to VPN.
What is my VPN password?
Your VPN password is different to any other password you may have, this password is issued by the Infrastructure and Desktop Services Team, Jonathan and Kulvinder.
